Hyvinkään Hevossairaala tarjoaa harjoittelumahdollisuuksia innokkaille opiskelijoille.
Sairaalassa hoidetaan hevospotilaita kaikilta hevoslääketieteen osa-alueilta. Harjoittelun aikana opiskelijat pääsevät seuraamaan hevosille tehtäviä toimenpiteitä ja saavat hyvän käsityksen hevoslääkinnän arjesta. Lisäksi tapauksista keskustellaan sairaalan kokeneiden eläinlääkäreiden kanssa rennossa ilmapiirissä.
Kyseessä on vapaaehtoisuuteen perustuva palkaton harjoittelu. Harjoittelun pituus voi vaihdella kahdesta viikosta muutamaan kuukauteen.

Hyvinkää Equine Hospital offers externships for students interested in equine medicine and surgery.
Hyvinkää Equine Hospital is a veterinary centre providing first opinion and referral services including medicine, surgery, orthopedics, dentistry and diagnostic imaging as well as for emergencies, preventative care and reproduction. We also provide ambulatory services.
We routinely have externs visit our hospital throughout the year. Our only requirement is that the extern comes with a willingness to learn and work. Externs can spend time in the hospital or on ambulatory or a combination of both. Generally, this schedule is worked out once they arrive depending on the extern’s interest and our needs.
At the moment we try to have no more than two externs at one time.
We also require that you have personal accident insurance coverage for your time with us. We can offer housing for externs on a limited basis with rent.
